2018’s chosen scholar Robert Bryning photographed following his successful interview with Sarah Steggall, HR Manager CLAAS UK, Ricarda Dustmann, HR Manager CLAAS Germany, and Boris Kettelhoit, Head of Predevelopment CLAAS E-Systems Germany.

CLAAS UK run a Scholarship Programme in conjunction with Harper Adams University. The Scholarship is open to second year students studying MEng/BEng (Hons) Agricultural Engineering, or MEng/BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering (Off-Highway).

One student is selected through interview each year, and they receive the following opportunities:

  • Paid summer placement at CLAAS UK for approximately 3 months
  • 12 month placement commencing in September at our Headquarters in Harsewinkel, Germany. This is a paid placement and accommodation will also be provided. CLAAS UK will pay for one return journey during your placement year.
  • £3,000 contribution towards tuition fees in the year prior to placement
  • Subject to review of performance, there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar’s final academic year.

The application process commences each November, with interviews taking place in December.
