This year’s Cereals event saw a reported record of over 26,500 people make their way to Vine Farm at Wendy in Cambridgeshire.
The main theme on the CLAAS stand, which was near Gate 1, was ‘Efficiency through Technology’, which looked at CLAAS developed technological advances that have helped machines, such as the LEXION range, achieve consistent market leading performance. Of particular interest was the display of GPS steering options from CLAAS, which prompted a lot of discussion as farmers look at such options to help increase efficiency and reduce operating cost.
