ConceptA partner to put the power to the ground
The challenge faced by the CLAAS engineers was as big as the XERION itself – to build a tractor that can do precisely those jobs that pose a serious problem for standard 300 HP machines without additional ballasting and twin tyres: to deliver enormous engine power to the ground. In addition, an extremely diverse system vehicle was created, making many different applications in modern farming possible for the very first time. ![]() Two models are available. The XERION TRAC with central cab and the XERION TRAC VC with a cab that can be swiveled by 180°. The TRAC VC is unique in the market, providing the familiar comfortable work place and best all-round visibility of all attachment areas even during pushing jobs. ![]() More contact areaThe TRAC concept has four same-size wheels measuring up to 2.05 m in diameter, a feature which stands out from a distance.. Your advantages:
This means that despite the high potential gross weight of up to 36 t (up to 10 km/h), optimum ground protection is guaranteed.
![]() Higher admissible gross weightThe TRAC concept further features a full frame design providing the ideal weight distribution of 57 % front and 43 % rear:
In addition, the full frame permits significantly higher vehicle weights.
The unladen weight is 13 tons. With only 2 tons additional weight on the front axle, the XERION has significantly more pulling force than any other standard tractor. |
