In order to develop a new tractor, it's necessary to do more than just assemble a few good components. All of the components, from the engine, drive system and gearbox to the alternator and air-conditioning system, need to be precisely matched to the machine in order to attain the greatest output and reliability. The CLAAS Tractor Concept has already given the ARION 500 and 600 tractors their reputation of economy and efficiency today.
The ARION 400, too, has been developed on this basis: minimal loss of power in the transmission system in order to deliver as much as possible to where it's needed – the wheels, PTO and hydraulics – and all this with extremely low fuel consumption.
