After the last upgrade of the biogas plant to 500 kW, the decision was made to procure a telescopic loader. "We loaded our plant with a front loader tractor for 4 years, but that had its limitations", says Armin Ohmstede.
"Before making our purchase, we invited four leading manufacturers for a demonstration and tested the machines thoroughly in practice", adds Ohmstede. "The other makes were good, too, but the things we like best about the SCORPION were the feel-good factor for the driver during work (Andre Ohmstede stands a good 2 m tall!), as well as the power available for moving feed and materials."
"It has a lot of different uses", say Armin and Andre Ohmstede, praising the SCORPION. "We can use the long boom for example to lift the stirrers out of the tanks for repairs or servicing work."
