VOLTO 770 T / 870 T

Super wide and trailed

Large dairy farms, which are professional businesses that run at full capacity during the harvest and use every available tractor. In order to be effective, every centimetre of tedder width matters. Both of these trailed VOLTO models reliably and powerfully cover this niche with their large working width.

Convenient down to the last detail

  • Encapsulated, permanently lubricated, maintenance-free gearboxes.
  • PERMALINK drive system.
  • Folding in and out via just one double-acting hydraulic connection.
  • Large-sized hydraulic folding transport chassis.
  • Easy to tow thanks to the large wheels.
  • Via a sequential switching in which the rotor first is folded out and then the chassis is folded up, the VOLTO units are swung into working position.
  • Edge spreader curtain, optionally either hydraulic or manual swivelling.
  • Double guide wheel and nighttime swathing gearbox optionally available.

Reliable transportation thanks to solid chassis for transport.

  • Separate hydraulically folding chassis for transport.

  • Light mover thanks to large wheels.

CLAAS PERMALINK- full power flow for perfect tedding.

  • Interlocked cast steel fingers with large contact areas.
  • Fold through 180 ° with full engagement for sure-handed power flow in every situation.

Enclosed drives for high performance tedders.

  • Rugged and durable
  • Maintenance-free
  • No crop contamination following oil loss
  • Continuous, even rotor lubrication to handle heavy operation and provide excellent harvest results.

Perfect clearance with the crop guard.

A headland spreading crop curtain mounted on the outside of the tedder keeps all the material in on the field. Its shallow angle relative to the crop impedes the flight of the material during the tedding process. For normal tedding, you simply swing the crop curtain up and out of the tedding area, either hydraulically or mechanically.

  • Clean field edges.
  • No need to angle the machine to one side.
  • The crop is not thrown inwards.
  • Uniform crop spread
