High loading and transport volumes call for a robust running gear and suitable tyres. The QUANTUM is therefore not just a first-class forage harvester, but also an outstanding transport vehicle.

To protect the turf and to reduce tire wear, the QUANTUM models of the 700 series can be equipped with a trailing axle upon request. The QUANTUM models of the 800 series have it as standard equipment. A trailing axle with active steering is available as an option for QUANTUM 5800 and 6800. Controlled via the separate steering linkage, the QUANTUM follows the tractor with exact precision. This makes driving in reverse and absolutely accurate tracking on inclines possible without locking the axle.

With tyres of 20 to 26.5 inches - depending on type - you also keep the bearing load low with heavy loading.
