Forage Box

The chassis.

  • The main chassis members can withstand extreme loads thanks to the C-profile beams.
  • C-profile cross beams and stiff uprights are bolted, rather than welded, to the main chassis members, allowing for easy maintenance.
  • Vertical plates to prevent bridging in the forage.
  • Externally positioned transverse brackets for maximum stability when loaded to the absolute maximum.

  • Tortionally flexible chassis structure ensures even load distribution over the entire structure, similar to the technology used in road trucks.

Metering rollers on the QUANTUM S-series models.

  • Two powerful shredder drums are driven directly by the main gearbox via heavy-duty angle drives and by universal drive shafts.
  • Unproblematic product flow through the wider outer tines.
  • A third metering roller is optional.

Two-speed scraper floor drive.

  • Scraper floor with four solid chain cables with separate offset U-shaped slats.
  • The two-speed drive allows for raid discharge. The two-speed drive is optional on all QUANTUM models up to 16 tonnes, standard on all models from 18 tonnes.
