Whether you own a mower combination, rear mower or trailed mower, CLAAS offers a suitable front mower for any model. Equipped with a working width of 3.00 metres, the patented PROFIL linkage geometry and ACTIVE FLOAT hydropneumatic suspension, these mowers deliver perfect results every time.

The PROFIL linkage geometry enables three-dimensional ground-contour tracking on mowers independent of the movement of the tractor. With a near-to-the-ground pivot point for lengthways adjustment, the mower bar follows the ground contours effortlessly. This ensures a consistent chop quality and protects the grass cover, while facilitating higher mowing speeds.

With ACTIVE FLOAT, the mower suspension can be adapted to current conditions at any time, from the comfort of the cab. This ensures the mower suspension is consistent at all times, independent of the mower's position in relation to the tractor. This is made possible by large-volume pressure accumulators connected to two suspension cylinders. If conditions change, you simply readjust the pressure directly via a single-acting spool valve.
The results:

DISCO front mowers come equipped with a tine or roller conditioner for a rapid crop-drying process. The conditioner, which spans the full working width of the mower, ensures the crop is conditioned consistently throughout. Adjustable swathing plates on models with a conditioner and adjustable swathing discs on machines without a conditioner adapt the swath width in line with the track width of the tractor. This prevents the freshly mown forage from being run over.

Hydraulically folding protective covers enable you to reduce the transport width to 3.00 metres without leaving the cab, allowing you to move quickly between jobs. A dual-acting spool valve is required for this option.

CLAAS offers the DISCO 3050 FC as an alternative to PROFIL series mowers. This model comes equipped with a tine conditioner with linkage geometry likewise designed for three-dimensional ground-contour following.
