The motto is: first cut – then feed.
The cutterbar has a significant influence on the throughput capacity of the combine harvester. The even feed of the crop to the threshing mechanism enables the performance potential of the machine to be fully utilised.

The distance between knife bar and intake auger can be adjusted by 300 mm, even whilst travelling. For the harvest of rape, the bottom of the cutterbar is extended by 500 mm and fixed into position.

The VARIO table is adjusted manually using the multifunction control lever. The table position can be stored and called up by activating the automatic cutterbar control system. A scale on the side of the cutterbar and a CEBIS indicator inform the driver about the current position of the cutterbar table.Remote operation of the cutterbar is also possible. This is a considerable advantage when converting the machine for harvesting rape seed.

The VARIO table is adjusted horizontally via hydraulic cylinders beneath the cutterbar trough. Oil is supplied via the onboard hydraulics of the combine harvester.
