Pickup

The new QUADRANT 3400 has a 2.35 m wide pickup. Therefore, even inconsistent and extra-wide swaths are picked up cleanly. None of the valuable fodder is left lying on the ground. The hydraulic drive – only available from CLAAS - does not fail even under maximum load. A perfect overload protection feature ensures maximum performance and provides protection from overloading.

Swivelling, guide wheels that are adjustable without tools ensure the correct following of ground contours. Even at a fast ground speed and on bumpy ground. Even during cornering, there is no rubbing of the ground, so the turf is kept in place for the next growing season.

Everything that flows consistently, increases performance. The crop roller press, which was patented for CLAAS and has proven itself in many balers and forage harvesters, provides complete work. It presses the crop onto the Pickup, homogenises and accelerates the product flow. The crop flows in an even stream to the rotor mounted closely behind the pickup.
