The new POWER FEEDING SYSTEM feeds the crop to the rotor of the new QUADRANT 3200 even faster. The rotor acquires the crop, accelerates it once again and then transfers it to the packer tines. This guarantees an improved, homogenised crop flow and a significantly higher absorption capacity.

Silage that is rich in energy and taste with optimum lactic acid fermentation is a basic prerequisite for high milk production in the dairy herd. Three things are needed for this: short fodder, high compaction pressure and exclusion of oxygen. CLAAS ROTO CUT delivers chop lengths of 45 mm with an outstanding cutting quality. 4,000 cuts more per minute are possible thanks to the 30 % higher speed.

The CLAAS QUADRANT 3200 with the new FINE CUT cutting system produces broken straw without loss and dust directly on the field. The new FINE CUT generation with the 49-blade cutting trough opens up fully new straw and cutting-quality dimensions for you. Its increased cutting frequency of over 35,000 cuts not only increases the throughput, it also ensures the cut is precise.

The straw is cut with a knife spacing of 20 mm and compacted into firm bales. All 49 knives are arranged power savingly with a pull-through cut. This reduces machine energy requirements, saves a considerable amount of fuel and ensures that you can produce FINE CUT broken straw at a much lower price than, for instance, harvested straw.

Its high bale density and perfect crop flow have always allowed QUADRANT balers to deliver uniformly shaped, rock-hard bales. The well-proven CLAAS packer tine principle as well as the new, adjustable pre-chamber ensure that straw, hay and silage is very well prepared when it is sent into the bale chamber. Regardless of the swath and crop conditions you come across, you can bring everything under control with the hydraulic add-on and adjustable pre-chamber control.

The QUADRANT 3200 compacts without a pre-chamber for large swaths. Every piston stroke is used for compaction. When required, you switch on the hydraulic – and therefore non-wearing – packer tine control from the comfort of your cab. It is adjustable in four stages and ensures ideal compaction in all conditions. The crop is collected until the pre-chamber is optimally filled. Only then is the crop pressed into the chamber. This produces a perfect bale with consistent density. In this regard it is fully equal to the QUADRANT 3400.
