Bale chamber

With its high friction resistance, the bale chamber has the potential for super-hard bales even at high throughput rates. The new, even stronger main gearbox transmission transfers the compaction force directly to the heavy baling ram, which is reliably guided on hardened tracks. Special cleaners keep the contact faces clean. The ram is carried by new, very large and automatically lubricated ram rollers.

In small compression packets, straw, hay or silage are compacted in record time: at 51 piston strokes per minute and a hefty 210 bar bale chamber pressure. Using the CLAAS COMMUNICATOR, at any time you can easily and quickly adjust the compaction pressure.

The pre-chamber can be switched off for large swaths to achieve the maximum possibly number of filling strokes and therefore the maximum number of compression packets.
