With the 2.10 m wide CLAAS professional pick-up and the POWER FEEDING SYSTEM, the QUADRANT is perfectly equipped to pick-up even the widest swaths at a high working speed.

On the QUADRANT 2100 ROTO CUT, a large, continuous, 2100 mm-wide auger merges the crop quickly and securely to 800 mm cutting rotor width. This auger is also available for all QUADRANTS with chopping rotor.

The pressure accumulator suspension relieves the pick-up with absolute consistency. The large, oscillating castor guide wheels keep you safely on track. Both together ensure optimum ground following and stubble preservation even with high working speeds and turns. Combined with the hydraulic suspension, the torsion elastic design ensures perfect ground following without contaminating the feeder.

PFS means POWER FEEDING SYSTEM. On all QUADRANT with PFS, a large, continuous feed auger, cushioned by shock-absorbers, takes the material from the pick-up and feeds it to the 8 mm strong rotor with aggressive paddles. The broader stars reduce the distance to the blade, increase the cutting quality further again and achieve maximum stability and service life.

The continuous auger of the POWER FEEDING SYSTEM conveys the crop far down into the rotor with very large turns. In this way, the crop flow is effectively homogenised and accelerated, and throughput is therefore significantly increased.
