OMNISTAR HP

Unlimited working radius.

OMNISTAR HP functions in very much the same way as EGNOS. However, as this system is equipped with a dual-frequency GPS receiver, a much higher level of GPS precision is attained. With 70 reference stations around the globe, OMNISTAR provides a continuously available subscription correction signal service. The correction signal receiver reacts very quickly and achieves a precision of +/- 5 to 10 cm. XERION, AXION, COUGAR and LEXION are available with OMNISTAR HP straight from the factory.

The solution that gives you full mobility.

  1. GPS satellites transmit a signal which is received by the machine.
  2. A geostationary satellite additionally transmits a highprecision differential correction signal (D GPS) to the machine.
  3. The GPS PILOT converts both signals to steering impulses.

It is ideal for these applications:

  • Soil cultivation
  • Crop spraying
  • Mowing
  • Fertilising

OMNISTAR HP can easily be upgraded to RTK for example. RTK is a dual-frequency reception technology that gives you a maximum precision of +/- 2 to 3 cm. See page 30 for more details.
