BASELINE HD

Mobile reference station.

BASELINE HD is a reference station designed for mobile use. It has a single-frequency GPS receiver and features state-of-the-art software technology. This system is unique on the GPS market and works to an accuracy of 4 to 6 cm - a range normally reserved for dual-frequency GPS systems.

One frequency that is just as good as two.

  • GPS satellites transmit a signal which is received by the machine and the BASELINE HD system.
  • The mobile reference station generates a high-precision
    differential correction signal (D GPS) which is additionally sent to the machine by radio signal.
  • The GPS PILOT converts both signals to steering impulses.

The BASELINE HD is a proprietary differential correction signal which comes with no additional cost. Another advantage is the fast start-up time. BASELINE HD can calculate the position of a new location in around 8 minutes, and only takes 2 minutes for a known location. Thereafter, the signal can be used by multiple machines.
