At the CLAAS factory in Metz, 400 employees produce balers for farming. Since production began in 1958, over 280,000 balers have been manufactured. Today, there is a separate welding and sheet metal processing line for each baler type. This saves time-consuming and expensive change-overs and facilitates simultaneous production of all models.
